If you’ve arrived here, welcome.
This Journal is not a news section. It isn’t a promotional blog either.
I created this space as a place to document the path behind the music: the ideas that become songs, the places that leave an imprint on my work, the concerts, the recordings, the doubts, the discoveries and the small moments that often remain invisible once a piece is finished.
As an independent singer-songwriter, composer and sound artist, I spend much more time creating than talking about what I do. Still, I’ve come to realize that every project carries a story worth sharing. Sometimes it begins with a melody. Sometimes with a train journey, a conversation, a landscape or a single line written in a notebook.
Here you’ll find reflections on songwriting, recordings, performances and artistic collaborations. There will also be glimpses into the creative process, notes from life between Chile and Germany, recommendations of music, books and artists that inspire me, and occasional thoughts that may never become songs but still deserve a place.
I don’t know exactly where this Journal will lead. I hope it grows naturally, one entry at a time, much like music itself.
Thank you for reading, and for being part of the journey.
